The Center for Material Science and Nanotechnology directed by Dr. Diyar S. Mayi in collaboration with the Training and Development Center directed by Dr. Dler Adil Jameel organized a workshop on Multidisciplinary Science, Nanotechnology, and Engineering Cooperation Through Joint Research. The workshop was intended for the Faculty of Science and members OF the Faculty of Engineering from all fields who are interested in multidisciplinary joint research by introducing their current research. The goal of this workshop was to give an interaction opportunity that can stimulate multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary collaborations for joint research purposes and to develop creative team working.
The two-day workshop was held at the Hall of seminars, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zakho, February 11-12th. Around 21 participants from different departments from the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering including master students, Ph.D. students, lecturers, and researchers have participated in this workshop. They have given seminars about their measurements and current projects. It is worthwhile to mention that the workshop was honored by the attendance of President of the University of Zakho Dr. Lazgin A. Jamil, Vice Presidents and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering.
